CONTACTS AND REFERRAL PROCESS

3-STEP REFERRAL PROCESS:

  1. Local sending district (Child Study team member) contacts the Director, Kelly Paterno, at the Felician School. The school requests updated reports and records for review.
  2. Administration, Teachers, and School Psychologist review records  to decide whether Felician School can provide an appropriate placement for the student.
  3. Parents are asked to bring the student for an interview and to spend some time in the classroom.  A meeting of Parents, Child Study team member, and Administration to discuss possible placement details will follow this.
